Sigrid Wagner

Sigrid Wagner served as a mathematics teacher educator at The Ohio State University for more than 20 years. She has directed projects funded by the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, Ohio Board of Regents, and Ohio Department of Education. Before joining the Ohio Resource Center (ORC), Sigrid directed Project SUSTAIN (Schools and Universities Statewide Teaching Approaches to INquiry), a multiyear, multimillion-dollar effort to institutionalize improvements in mathematics and science teacher preparation programs across Ohio. Since joining ORC, she has directed PRIME (PRompt Intervention in Mathematics Education) and the ORC Problem Corner. Sigrid earned her Ph.D. in mathematics education from New York University.
