Speaking Up and Keeping Pace – The Real Scope on Digital Learning in Ohio
Who is learning online? What mobile devices are being used in school? Are teachers flipping their classrooms? What social media tools do parents use? Who is implementing e-textbooks? Where is blended learning happening? What is the real state of digital learning in Ohio schools today? For today’s education leaders, understanding what is real and what is ed tech fad is harder than ever. In this session, Julie Evans, Project Tomorrow’s CEO, will share how Ohio Speak Up 2012 findings from over 53,000 K-12 students, teachers, administrators and parents compare to the national results, and Amy Murin, a researcher with the Evergreen Education Group, will discuss the implications of the Keeping Pace with K-12 Online and Blended Learning 2012 report on Ohio’s schools and districts.
