Lauren has been working with the ODE for six years. She started working with the Office of Curriculum as a Science Consultant. She also worked in the Office of Assessment on the OGT and OAA science tests. She now leads the Ohio Performance Assessment Pilot Project for the department. Lauren holds a PhD in Astronomy and is an Adjunct instructor at the Columbus State Community College. She has published an astronomy exercises book for college and a series of astronomy "guides" for high school students.
