Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Blended Learning and How You Can Incorporate it in Your Classroom using Moodle (LMS) and YouTube

Moodle (or almost any LMS) can be utilized to create great Blended Learning lessons for your students. Learn how to create screencasts to Flip lessons, and provide other anytime, anyplace learning for your students. We utilize YouTube as our repository (all staff have school Gmail/YouTube accounts) to make them available on any device. Learn how to setup your YouTube account and link your (and others) media into your lessons.

1989 Graduate of Miami University in Systems Analysis. 23 Year AF Veteran with 9 years instructional and 20 years IT experience. Started as a teaching Technology Coordinator in 2003 for National Trail Local Schools. Maintains 700+ workstations, 500 tablets, 10 servers. Maintains and codes customized Moodle installations for the school. Teaches half a normal schedule of high school computer classes on computer hardware.
