Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Come hear a lively panel discussion featuring three dynamic high school teachers who tackled the blended learning challenge this past year, moderated by Stacy Hawthorne, Technology Integration Coordinator for the Medina City Schools. As recipients of an eTech Blended Learning grant we were able to fully develop and deploy a successful blended learning program at Medina High School. Participants will leave inspired knowing that blended learning is achievable and worthwhile in Ohio public schools.

Teacher, Medina High School
Mrs. Conley is in her first year of teaching in a blended space. She has worked with the Cleveland Historical Society to develop the student created iOS app, Discover Medina Historical. She is well-versed on providing appropriate challenge to students and has learned how to challenge herself by teaching in a blended environment this past year.

• Christina Hamman is in her 10th year of teaching, all 10 years at MHS. This year she is teaching Geometry (8th year) and AP Calculus (5th year). Teacher, Medina High School
• Stephani Itibrout is in her sixteenth year of teaching at Medina High School. This year she teaches Sophomore Language Arts and Advanced Placement Literature and Composition.
