For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

How Do I Start Building a Blended Classroom?

The session will present an approach to the initial development of a blended course. Discussion will focus on the unit as a complex web of learning activities and academic standards as well as creating a positive social presence. The presenters will offer tips and techniques for developing formative, summative and project-based assignments through free web and LMS tools. Assessment will be discussed along with the use of frequent feedback mechanisms, tools and techniques.
