Upper Arlington High School school librarians have planned collaboratively with teachers to provide more meaningful research projects for their students, especially in the 9th grade. Using TRAILS (Tool for Real-time Assessment of Information Literacy Skills) to assess students’ research skills, the school librarians designed instruction that includes developing a strategy for the research process and using the Go! INFOhio tools to have students help themselves through the research process.
