For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Foster student engagement by Flipping the Classroom. With this approach, the instructional lesson is done online outside of the school, while, the homework is moved into the classroom. Explore how to enhance student outcomes while allowing the teacher to assume the role as facilitator of higher order thinking in the elementary classroom.

Vanessa Taglia has been part of Columbus Academy’s faculty since 2010 as a third grade teacher.
