For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. What are These Things? Uses for QR Codes in your School

Do you wonder what those funny little images are all over the place? Well they are called QR Codes, and this session is where you can find out what they are and how you can use them in your school. This session will give you free resources that are easy and simple to use. Upon returning to your school, you will be able to setup and get your students and parents scanning codes. This is a great tool that adds a new level to your school and classroom. The session will be fun and enjoyable too!

Heather has been a third grade teacher for six years. She uses innovative techniques to engage students in her classroom. Heather has been very proactive in helping other staff members advance their teaching skills and innovate their classrooms.

Joseph Kuzior

Assistant Principal, Rittman Elementary School
JT Kuzior was a third grade teacher for the past six years. In his classroom, technology innovations were used daily. He setup Twitter, iDevices, and Smart Boards for use in his classrooms. Now he is an assistant principal in a K-5 setting, helping teacher innovate and use technology pieces in their classrooms.
