“Hand-on” Lab for Using ArcGIS in the Classroom

This is a 3 hour workshop to compliment the presentation: Using ArcGIS to Bring the World to Classroom Instruction. Geospatial technology is a powerful tool for exploring and analyzing spatial data - any piece of information that has a geographic position. ArcGIS (ESRI) is the premier geospatial software and is available to classroom teachers, with the goal of incorporating spatial data across the disciplines. Participants in this workshop will use ArcGIS.com in classroom instruction across a variety of disciplines, engaging learners in a visual, spatial, and imaginative way. Limited to 24 attendees.

Register for this workshop by contacting Tracy Taylor at tracy.taylor@etech.ohio.gov.
