Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Free! Fits Everyone's Budget: Online Study/Learning Tools to Use with Students

With the current economic times, Free seems to be the only fit for budgets. This hands on lab will focus on free online websites that can be used by students to support their learning of the Academic Core Standards. Websites to be introduced will include the areas of study skills, reading, writing and more if time permits! These websites will be easy to introduce to students in the Jr. High and High School grades.

Caryn Timmerman is a Speech Language Pathologist employed with the Mercer County ESC and the State Support Team Region 6. Caryn’s focus as an SLP has primarily been with students with Multiple Disabilities as well as students on the Autism Spectrum.
