Fast, Fun and Free Ways to Use Voice Recording Software

This session will introduce free and user-friendly voice recording software such as Audacity (available for Mac and PC) and apps such as "Quick Voice". In addition to hands-on opportunities to try out the software and apps, demonstrations will be given showing how these can be used to facilitate writing, speaking and social skills in the classroom and speech therapy sessions, especially for students with disabilities.

Speech-Language Pathologist, Maumee City Schools
Shannon received her BA and MA in Speech-Langauge Pathology from Ohio University. She is a school-based speech-language pathologist and is a member of the SSTR1 Assistive Technology Network.
