Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Research tells us that grounding concepts in realistic terms and meaningful context can lead to greater transferability and increased student engagement. But how do we foster authentic learning experiences in online environments? Learn about how to effectively use games within your classroom to engage students in context-rich learning in math and more. Session includes demos of Ko’s Journey, iCivics and other games.
