An Orientation to Text-to-Speech (TTS) Technology

TTS systems allow the user to read text on a computer and adjust various parameters such as the rate at which the text is spoken, the voice. We will discuss why they are becoming a standard tool in the educator's toolbox, what they have to offer for students with disabilities and why you should use them.
