Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Uses and implications of technological resources and project-based learning will be shown by a hands-on experience. Participants will also be introduced to a variety of literacy strategies designed to help students understand scientific content through technology.

I am currently working on my undergraduate education degree and I plan to teach in the adolescent to young adult setting, focusing on life sciences. As a Noyce Scholar and a participant in the Teacher Planning Grant I incorpotated educational technologies into rural classroom settings. I am currently attending the University of Rio Grande and plan to graduate in May of 2012.

Pre-Service Teacher, University of Rio Grande
I am currently a senior, working on my Middle School Education licensure. My concentrations are language arts and sciene, where I have an opportunity to incorporate literacy into science. Currently, I am a Noyce Scholar and the vice president of the Middle Childhood Association at the University of Rio Grande.
