Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Moodle Lessons in a Blended Learning Initiative

Wondering how to get the content to that student who is often absent? Trying to figure out how and when to reteach a lesson to a handful of students when the rest of the class is ready to move on? Looking for a way to differentiate your instruction? This session may be for you! Come and create a student-driven interactive Moodle lesson you can use to FLIP your classroom, differentiate instruction, or for an eDay! Bring a tablet/laptop and know a YouTube video you'd like to add to your lesson.

A Vassar graduate, Heidi Perry is an 8th grade Science and Language Arts teacher who has been using Moodle in her instruction for six years. Heidi's district holds an annual Technology In-service open to all teachers in Preble County, in which she has presented since its inception seven years ago. She has presented at eTech the past three years, and despite what her colleagues may say, she isn't a hobbit.
