Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Join us to find out how an innovative suburban school district leveraged a talented teaching faculty and a tech-savvy community to launch a one-to-one program in support of enhanced learning. Laptops in the classroom have been a staple of instruction at Mariemont City Schools for over a decade, but following the lead of our students, we have piloted, and then expanded, an affordable model that has all students in grades 2-12 engaged with technology every day.

Superintendent, Mariemont City Schools
Paul Imhoff has been leading the Mariemont City School District as Superintendent since July of 2007. Prior to joining the district, he served as assistant superintendent in Madeira City Schools and held positions as assistant principal and principal in the Wyoming, Madeira and Mapleton school districts. Keith Koehne is currently the principal of Mariemont Junior High School and also serves as technology director for Mariemont's Tech Advisory Team. He has previously served as a high school government teacher and elementary school principal.

Shannon Kromer is currently the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for the Mariemont City Schools. In this position, she oversees the district's implementation of its learning management system and the ongoing operation of the Mariemont Academy, the "for teachers, by teachers" professional development program in the district.
