For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. 'Just Ask Us': Using PBL to Transform a Community

From the developer of the workshop, “Shut Up & Teach”, comes an inspiring story about PBL. In Alg 2, 2011-2012, quarters one to three, Nevin used and reflected on online tech tools. During qtr 4, with the fear of student boredom setting back in, Nevin was encouraged to do PBL. The project created was one that involved creative students, support from staff and community residents, and encouragement from the Mayor. Come hear the story and share about true student engagement using PBL and Technology.
