Every day, learning is taking place across barriers once thought to be insurmountable. For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Attendees will come together to teach and learn about new ways to equip, engage, and empower learners and educators across the state and beyond!

Gamestar Mechanic in the Integrated Classroom - Teacher and Student Discussion/Demonstration

In this session, the teacher and students will discuss the benefits of game making through Gamestar Mechanic in the classroom. We will talk about how the program lends itself to the educational purposes of game making, as well as how art and classroom content were added to the games to authentically assess a student through their games. Students will display their games as well as discuss how they benefitted from Gamestar Mechanic.
