For the 15th anniversary of OETC, join more than 6,000 attendees to explore the endless possibilities that distance learning and alternative learning models provide. Screencasting for the Elementary Classroom

This session is an introduction to screencasting and how to use it effectively in an elementary school classroom. There will be a brief overview of what screencasting involves, how it is used in an educational setting, and why it is beneficial in an elementary classroom. The advantages of creating screencasts for students, parents, substitute teachers and colleagues will be examined. Participants will be exposed to several screencasting resources and products, including free resources.
